5 months agoMiami Marlins starter Jesus Luzardo (back) was moved to the 60-day injured list on Sunday morning. The 26-year-old was originally placed on the 15-day injured list on Saturday afternoon after he was scratched from his scheduled start. He is set to miss around four-to-six weeks due to a lumbar stress reaction. It is Luzardo's second stint on the IL this year and another injury for a battered Marlins rotation. It has not been a banner year for Luzardo in the first place as he owns a 5.00 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 58:22 K:BB across 12 starts. It is unclear how the Marlins plan to set their rotation as they currently have six starters on the IL. Luzardo should be able to return right around the All-Star break barring any setbacks, but he has not been the most reliable fantasy asset even when healthy.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
