Zach Neto Exits Saturday's Game Early With Calf Tightness
10 months agoLos Angeles Angels shortstop Zach Neto (calf) was removed from Saturday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers with left calf tightness. He injured himself on a sliding stop of a ground ball. The 23-year-old also fouled a ball off his leg earlier in the game. Neto was able to walk off under his power. He went 0-for-1 with a strikeout before exiting. Michael Stefanic replaced him in the fourth inning. The severity of Neto's injury is unknown, and he is considered day-to-day. Stefanic should see an uptick in at-bats with Neto sidelined, but he is not on the fantasy radar after slashing .231/.310/.269 over eight games in 2024.
