Andrew Cogliano Returns To Avalanche Lineup
1 year agoColorado Avalanche center Andrew Cogliano (illness) will rejoin the lineup for Saturday's tilt against Toronto. He has shaken off an illness, which forced Cogliano to skip Thursday's encounter with Detroit. The 36-year-old veteran has provided quality minutes in a fourth-line role for Colorado, logging 15 points (four goals, 11 assists) in 51 games with a plus-seven rating. Kurtis MacDermid filled in for Cogliano versus the Red Wings and will likely make way for him on Saturday night.

Andrew Cogliano Back In Avalanche Lineup Saturday
1 year agoColorado Avalanche center Andrew Cogliano (undisclosed) will rejoin the lineup Saturday versus Arizona. The veteran returns from a two-game absence. Cogliano provides experience and grit to the Avalanche lineup but has very little value in fantasy hockey. The 36-year-old has amassed only nine points (three goals, six assists) in 27 appearances this season. He will bump Ben Meyers out of the lineup and skate in a bottom-six role.

Andrew Cogliano Could Return For Avalanche Wednesday
1 year agoColorado Avalanche center Andrew Cogliano (upper body) has a chance to return to the lineup Wednesday versus Anaheim. He took part in the morning skate and could be back after sitting out two contests. Cogliano has totaled three points this season in 11 games with no goals scored, averaging around 10 minutes of action per game as a fourth-liner. He doesn't impact anything in fantasy hockey, but the Avalanche will be glad to have another healthy body available up front after recently losing Artturi Lehkonen (upper body).

Andrew Cogliano Ready For Season Debut
1 year agoColorado Avalanche center Andrew Cogliano (neck) will make his first appearance of the season Saturday versus San Jose. The veteran forward fractured his neck in last season's playoffs and was kept out of action when the Avalanche opened the new campaign with a 5-2 victory over Los Angeles on Wednesday. Cogliano offers very little to fantasy managers, but he's been a good fourth-line center for Colorado and definitely adds a bit more extra quality to the lineup. He finished last season with 10 goals and 19 points in 79 outings.
