5 months agoShane Lowry has found himself contending quite often in the 2024 calendar year. The 37-year-old Irish star has posted four finishes inside of the top-6 in just fifteen starts this calendar year, including his third PGA Tour victory at the Zurich Classic match play event. Equally as impressive, he only missed the cut and lost strokes from tee-to-green once in those fifteen starts. While his $7,800 DraftKings salary may be tempting given these facts, there is some concern with his course fit at TPC River Highlands. Over the last 24 rounds, Lowry ranks 38th in driving accuracy, 30th in overall approach, 39th in Bentgrass putting, 60th in birdie-or-better percentage, and 57th in strokes gained on easy courses. His course history doesn't jump off the page either, as his last three appearances here resulted in a missed cut, T60 and T19. While Lowry is no doubt a world-class golfer, fantasy managers should consider limited exposure, if any, at this week's Travelers Championship.--Ryan Hickey
