New York Jets running back Breece Hall is a prime contender to finish as the overall RB1 in 2024 fantasy football. The former second-round pick flashed as a rookie before suffering an unfortunate ACL tear, and after a slow start to his sophomore campaign, he became a significant factor in fantasy football down the stretch.
Heading into Year 3, New York's offense should be much-improved thanks to a healthy Aaron Rodgers and upgrades along the offensive line. However, Hall has been limited at OTAs and during minicamp this offseason, which is obviously a concern for a consensus first-round pick.
Is Hall healthy or injured? Will he be ready for training camp? Let's dive in.

Breece Hall Injury Update for Fantasy Football
Hall (lower body) was held out of minicamp practices as a precaution with a minor lower-body injury. "I'm just focused on continuing to get better and just to keep building my body up for the season," Hall said. "I could practice right now. I feel great, but the coaches are really cautious with me, and I appreciate them for that. It has been a good time still being a part of everything. I do all the walkthroughs and stuff we've been doing."

Last year, Hall didn't practice until late August after coming off a torn ACL, but he still racked up 1,588 scrimmage yards and nine touchdowns in 2023. It sounds like fantasy managers shouldn't be too worried about his status heading into draft season.
Breece Hall 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook
Hall carries an FFPC ADP of 4.57 in mid-June drafts, so clearly, he is expected to produce high-end RB1 numbers. The return of Rodgers should lighten the box, while newcomers on the offensive line Tyron Smith, Morgan Moses, and John Simpson will give him more room to operate. If Rodgers suffers any setbacks and has to miss time, backup Tyrod Taylor will provide a solid floor for the overall offense. Meanwhile, New York invested in first-round offensive tackle Olu Fashanu in case Smith continues to struggle with injuries.
Running backs Braelon Allen, Israel Abanikanda, and Isaiah Davis don't figure to be heavily involved in the Jets backfield barring a Hall injury, so he projects to be one of the rare workhorses in the modern NFL. New York is all-in for a Super Bowl since Rodgers' days are numbered, so expect Hall to be force-fed with touches, negating any concerns of the organization trying to save him for the long term.

If Hall finishes the season as anything lower than the RB5, his 2024 campaign will be viewed as a complete disappointment.
