Francisco Lindor Homers, Doubles In Win
5 months agoNew York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor went 2-for-5 with a double and his 11th home run of the season in Wednesday's 10-4 win over the Marlins. It was Lindor's fourth multi-hit game in his last six and is rounding into form after a slow start. After an 0-for-5 day on May 18 that saw his batting average dip to .190, Lindor is 29-for-90 (.322) with eight doubles, four home runs, 10 RBI, 13 runs scored, and three stolen bases over his last 21 games, raising his average to .234 on the season. He's making decent contact (79.9%) and barreling the ball at a career-high rate (12.6%), so if not for the .245 BABIP (career .289), his BA might be higher. Either way, it looks like he's back on track and is still a top-12 option at SS.
