Tyler O'Neill Back In Action For Red Sox
6 months agoBoston Red Sox outfielder Tyler O'Neill (knee) is serving as the designated hitter and will bat third for the BoSox on Wednesday against the visiting Philadelphia Phillies and left-hander Cristopher Sanchez. O'Neill is back in the lineup after missing three straight games due to a flare-up of a knee injury last Friday. The 28-year-old had just returned from the injured list early last week, but everything is good to go now and he's back in there for Boston. With O'Neill back, the left-handed-hitting Masataka Yoshida will head to the bench against the lefty starter. O'Neill has only played in three games in June and has hit just .174 (4-for-23) with no homers, one RBI and 12 strikeouts in seven games dating back to May 20. Fantasy managers will be hoping that he can get back to how he was swinging the bat early this year for the Red Sox.
