After missing most of the season so far, it appears that Nolan Jones is finally healthy. That's the good news.
The bad news is that he has struggled a bit during his rehab assignment and the Rockies have chosen not to activate him even though he was eligible to return to the team several days ago.
There is now no definitive date for his return, and fantasy managers will continue to have to stay patient while waiting for Jones to rejoin the Colorado lineup.

Nolan Jones Injury Update for Fantasy Baseball
Jones is still rostered in 72% of leagues on Yahoo. Not because of what he's done this season (.170 AVG, 1 HR, 11 R, 7 RBI, 2 SB) but because of what he did last season in his rookie campaign (.297 AVG, 20 HR, 60 R, 62 RBI, 20 SB. Most managers invested a fifth or sixth-round draft pick on Jones, so those guys have continued to patiently await his return.

Jones has not played for the Rockies since April and his rehab has hit a few roadblocks along the way as he has dealt with a knee injury in addition to the back injury that initially sent him to the IL.
Nolan Jones Fantasy Baseball Outlook
Jones is striking out 36.7% of the time at the Triple-A level and was whiffing at a similar 35.9% rate against MLB pitchers in August before his injury. The Rockies ultimately want to see him start making more contact before they feel confident enough to bring him back up to Colorado.
However, this is a team that also badly needs offensive production and with their season already being a lost one, they could just as easily activate Jones and let him finish figuring out his swing against big-league hitters.
Jones has shown a unique power/speed combo for an athlete of size that is a dream for fantasy baseball. Managers just have to be patient and wait a few more days - maybe up to a week - for Jones to finally get that call and then hope that he can show some signs of his 2023 form.
