Trevor Megill Racks Up 10th Save In Win Over Blue Jays
6 months agoMilwaukee Brewers closer Trevor Megill recorded his 10th save in Monday's 3-1 win over the Toronto Blue Jays. Megill needed just 11 pitches (eight for strikes) while allowing a hit over one inning and hasn't allowed an earned run in six of his last eight outings while lowering his ERA to 2.00. Megill has struck out 24 batters and walked four while allowing just one home run over 18 innings. Fantasy managers have complete confidence Megill will continue to deliver quality numbers each time the Brewers call on him to close out games, although he'll eventually return to a setup role whenever Devin Williams (back) can make his season debut.
