BALLER MOVE: Add in 10+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 2% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Drew Thorpe is reportedly penciled in to make his MLB debut on Tuesday against the Mariners. Thorpe was a second-round pick in the 2022 Draft by the Yankees and hit the ground running in the minors, posting a 40% strikeout rate with a 1.48 ERA/0.66 WHIP in five Double-A starts after similar greatness at High-A.
His great form helped bolster the Yanks’ side in the Juan Soto blockbuster, only for the Padres to later flip him to the White Sox for Dylan Cease.
Drew Thorpe’s a helluva get for White Sox. Bad fastball (obv red flag) but elite command and changeup with multiple pitch repertoire
1.48 ERA and 1.82 xFIP with a 35.5% K-B (elite) in AA last year at 22 years old. Good return along w/ Iriarte for Ceasepic.twitter.com/J9WEclqF9a

Chicago’s No. 3 prospect and the No. 54 overall prospect per MLB.com will hope this move to the majors is his last for a long while. The 23-year-old has a pristine 1.35 ERA/0.87 WHIP over 60 IP this season, allowing just two earned runs over his last four outings (23 ⅔ IP). He boasts a devastating changeup and lines up to face a Mariners team whose 27.4% strikeout rate leads the majors. He's a promising add in most fantasy formats.
