Starling Marte Returns Against Phillies
6 months agoNew York Mets outfielder Starling Marte (knee) is starting in right field and is batting fifth for the Mets on Saturday in London against the division-rival Philadelphia Phillies and left-hander Ranger Suarez. Marte was scratched from the team's lineup on Wednesday, but the 35-year-old appears ready to go now and will return to a tough matchup against Suarez. However, Marte has been swinging a hot bat lately and has gone 10-for-22 with six RBI and five runs scored in his last six games to boost his season slash line up to .276/.326/.414 to go along with six home runs, 25 RBI, 10 stolen bases and 32 runs scored in 210 at-bats this year. Also, in 13 career at-bats against Suarez, Marte is hitting .308. Fantasy managers in most leagues will want to get Marte back in there on Saturday.
