Harry Ford Showcasing Hitting And Speed At High-A
5 months agoSeattle Mariners catching prospect Harry Ford has responded quite well after struggling through the opening month of the campaign at Double-A. Since the start of May, the former 12th overall pick is riding a .277/.391/.420 line with two home runs, 13 RBI, and an eye-catching 11 stolen bases. He has 15 swiped bags through the entire season. Last summer, at High-A, the 21-year-old stole 24 bases and hit 15 long balls. It is very promising to see Ford continue to showcase his elite power and speed, especially after struggling through his first month at Double-A. MLB Pipeline ranks Ford as the number 27 overall prospect in baseball and fourth among catchers. He should be expected to make his major league debut next summer and should be rostered in all keeper and dynasty leagues.
