Jack Hurley Swinging A Hot Bat At High-A
5 months agoArizona Diamondbacks outfield prospect Jack Hurley has been swinging a hot bat over the past week at High-A. In his past seven games, the 22-year-old has posted a strong .375/.464/.750 line with two home runs, six RBI, one stolen base, and a 2:5 BB:K ratio. This is a great sign as Hurley has struggled through the early part of the season as he still holds an underwhelming .235/.305/.429 line. Hurley got a small taste of High-A ball late last summer and performed well in the 20-game sample size with a .293 AVG. MLB Pipeline projects Hurley to reach the major leagues sometime in 2026, which suggests that he might spend the majority of this season with High-A. However, if he happens to be promoted to Double-A during the second half of the season, it could open the door for a 2025 major league debut.
