N'Keal Harry Up To 240 Pounds
10 months agoMinnesota Vikings wide receiver N'Keal Harry is reportedly up to 240 pounds in preparation for his attempted move to tight end. The 2019 first-round pick by the New England Patriots out of Arizona State has not found success at receiver through his first five NFL campaigns, and there have been a few success stories of players moving to tight end. Harry said heard "whispers" during his career about moving to tight end, but the Vikings were the first team to broach it with him with the idea. With T.J. Hockenson (knee) likely out of action to begin 2024 after a late-season ACL tear last year, it will be interesting to see if Harry can carve out a role in the new-look Vikings offense led by Sam Darnold or J.J. McCarthy. He's not on the fantasy radar in regular leagues, but deep-league dynasty fantasy managers could take a flyer on him.

N'Keal Harry Working With Tight Ends
10 months agoMinnesota Vikings wide receiver N'Keal Harry is working with the team's tight ends this offseason to see if he can carve out a role, according to ESPN's Kevin Seifert. He is still being listed as a wide receiver, but the 6-foot-4 pass-catcher could make the transition to tight end. Harry was selected with the No. 32 overall pick by the New England Patriots in 2019, but he has not found his place in the NFL thus far. Through his first 40 games with the Patriots and Chicago Bears, he's collected just 64 receptions for 714 yards and five touchdowns. With T.J. Hockenson (knee) expected to miss the start of the season after suffering a late-season ACL tear in 2023, Harry could be an interesting player to monitor as this development progresses. For now, he is far from the fantasy football radar.

N'Keal Harry Activated To Active Roster
1 year agoThe Minnesota Vikings activated wide receiver N'Keal Harry to the active roster to replace Justin Jefferson (hamstring), who heads to injured reserve. The 2021 first-round draft pick didn't reach the end of his rookie contract with New England, had a cup of coffee with the Bears, and was cut by Minnesota prior to the preseason finale this year. He's since spent time on the Vikings' practice squad. Coach Kevin O'Connell talked up Harry on Wednesday but he has a long way to go before seeing consistent playing time. K.J. Osborn and Jordan Addison are the two wideouts who will see increased usage with Jefferson on the sidelines.

Vikings Release N'Keal Harry
2 years agoThe Minnesota Vikings released former New England Patriots first-round wide receiver N'Keal Harry on Thursday. Harry, the 32nd overall pick by the Patriots in 2019 out of Arizona State, has turned out to be a bust in the NFL to this point. He spent last season with the Chicago Bears but only played in seven games and caught seven passes for 116 yards and a touchdown. In his three years in New England, Harry had 57 receptions on 103 targets for 598 yards and four scores. The 25-year-old is dealing with a soft-tissue injury that caused him to miss Minnesota's last preseason game. Harry will look to latch on with another team before the regular season, but he'll need to get healthy first.

Vikings Sign N'Keal Harry
2 years agoFree-agent wide receiver N'Keal Harry reached an undisclosed deal with the Vikings on Sunday. The 2019 No.32 overall pick has appeared in 40 games for the Patriots and Bears during his career. Unfortunately, he hasn't lived up to his pre-draft hype, totaling 64 catches for 714 yards and five touchdowns. Harry probably won't be any more productive in Minnesota, considering the team has Justin Jefferson, K.J. Osborne, Jordan Addison, and T.J. Hockenson on the depth chart. That's not to say Harry won't have a few decent fantasy showings this year. However, he likely won't be much of a factor for fantasy managers in the grand scheme of things.
