6 months agoThe Minnesota Timberwolves have agreed to a restructured contract with president of basketball operations Tim Connelly, which will see him remain with the team in 2024-25. Connelly, who was hired in 2022, had an opt-out clause for this offseason, but it has been moved to next year with the restructured contract. Before taking charge in Minnesota, Connelly helped build the 2022-23 championship-winning team in Denver. He's put in impressive work with the Timberwolves as well, with the team reaching the Conference Finals for only the second time in franchise history this season. Connelly is expected to consider signing a long-term deal once the Timberwolves' ownership saga draws to a close.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
