Brandon Marsh Exits Sunday's Game Early With A Hamstring Strain
6 months agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Brandon Marsh (hamstring) left Sunday's 5-4 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals with a right-hamstring strain. Marsh sustained the injury by rounding second base during the bottom of the eighth inning but was able to walk off under his power. He went 1-for-3 with a walk before leaving the game. The 26-year-old will undergo further evaluation on his injured hamstring and is considered day-to-day. Marsh is hitting .265/.344/.426 with six homers, 26 RBI, and 20 runs scored over 52 games. Cristian Pache replaced Marsh in Sunday's game and could see an uptick in at-bats if Marsh were to miss time. Pache is not on the fantasy radar after slashing .216/.305/.275 with eight RBI over 24 games this season.
