6 months agoThe San Francisco Giants are expected to place 2023 National League Cy Young Award winner Blake Snell (groin) on the injured list with a left-groin injury that he suffered during his start on Sunday against the New York Yankees. He allowed three earned runs on five hits, striking out seven and walking three in 4 2/3 innings in the loss. It is the second time Snell has been on the IL this season, having previously missed 25 games with a left-groin strain. The talented left-hander will undergo an MRI exam on Monday, at which point we should have a better idea of how much time Snell might miss this time around. He is 0-3 with a 9.51 ERA in 23 2/3 innings this season, one that has left fantasy managers in a state of frustration with Snell.--Brandon Williams - RotoBaller
