Fantasy Managers Should Like Chris Buescher At St. Louis
6 months agoChris Buescher will start the Enjoy Illinois 300 at World Wide Technology Raceway from the 26th position. This is the fourth-lowest starting position of the year for Buescher and is the second time he will start outside of the Top 25 at WWTR. After missing the 2022 race due to COVID-19, Buescher placed 12th and captured positive Place Differential in his only race at the St. Louis track in 2023. In 14 races completed this year, Buescher has 10 top-20 finishes, with six inside the Top 10. In practice, Buescher's overall lap averages ranked 11th of all drivers, and he has plenty of PD upside from his starting position. Based on his RFK Racing equipment and track history, DFS players should find a lot to like with Buescher this week as a driver who can compete for a top-15 finish.
