Bobby Miller Struggles In Rehab Outing With Single-A
6 months agoLos Angeles Dodgers right-hander Bobby Miller (shoulder) allowed four runs on five hits and one walk while striking out none over 3 1/3 innings in his rehab start with Single-A Rancho Cucamonga. He threw 65 pitches, landing 38 pitches for strikes. According to Dodgers manager Dave Roberts, Miller experienced a little velocity drop in his rehab start but doesn't believe the dip was caused by any kind of physical setback. The 25-year-old allowed three runs on 55 pitches in his previous rehab appearances. Miller has been out since April 13 due to right shoulder inflammation. He owns a 5.40 ERA, 1.46 WHIP, and 18:6 K: BB across 11 2/3 innings in 2024. Miller could be required to do one more rehab assignment before joining the Dodgers rotation. Fantasy managers should continue to stash Miller on their rosters as the right-hander could return from the injured list soon.
