The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series is in St. Louis this weekend for the Toyota 200 at World World Technology Raceway, which is also known as Gateway. Last year's race here saw Grant Enfinger drive to victory lane in this race. He's joined in this field by 2022 Gateway winner Corey Heim, making those two the only drivers in this field with Truck Series wins here.
Last weekend, Nick Sanchez won an exciting Truck Series race at Charlotte. Meanwhile, Corey Heim finished second, but later saw that spot taken away from him via post-race disqualification. That's created some separation at the top of the field, as Christian Eckes now holds a 30-point lead over Heim in the championship race.

Top Drivers
Christian Eckes - $10.8k
Starts 2nd
Christian Eckes has now opened up a pretty big lead in the title race and he has a shot to grow that lead on Saturday at WWT Raceway as he starts on the outside pole. After struggling to finish races here earlier in his career despite leading double-digit laps in his first two Gateway starts, Eckes has finally put some full races together at this track, posting consecutive runner-up finishes the past two years. My prediction is that he gets his first win at the track this weekend.
Ty Majeski - $10.3K
Starts 1st
Drive all the way to St Louis…and @TyMajeski is STILL fast! 😂 🤙🏻

— Eric Huenefeld (@Heenahfeld) June 1, 2024
Ty Majeski is on pole for this race after running an incredibly fast lap, making his way around the 1.25-mile track in 32.475 seconds, ahead of Christian Eckes and his 32.599-second run. Majeski was on the pole here last year and led 55 laps, but a late crash wiped him out. He's now finished 30th or worse in three consecutive races here despite showing speed every time he sees this track. The luck has to turn around at some point, right?
Grant Enfinger - $10.5K
Starts 10th
Grant Enfinger is an interesting figure this year. The winner of this race in 2023 when he was driving for GMS Racing, Enfinger is now running in significantly worse equipment and his average finish is just 14.2, which would be his worst ever as a full-time driver.
But the team seems to have found some speed, posting back-to-back top fives. This is a good time for Enfinger to have some momentum as he heads to a track where he’s led double-digit laps three times.

Mid-Tier NASCAR Trucks DFS Lineup Options
Jake Garcia - $7.0K
Starts 15th
Jake Garcia is a solid floor play on this slate. While he has just one top 10 all season, he's finished 21st or better in 10 consecutive races. Pretty boring play, but if he can run around where he starts and take advantage if any drivers ahead of him have issues, he can produce a solid fantasy line.
Layne Riggs - $8.3K
Starts 17th
#NASCAR Truck Series practice is underway. Layne Riggs is fastest in the early moments of the session, but Majeski now goes to P1.
— Toby Christie (@Toby_Christie) May 31, 2024
Layne Riggs hasn't run nearly as well as Zane Smith did in this No. 38 truck for Front Row Motorsports, posting an average finish of just 21.9 this season. But Riggs was third at North Wilkesboro a couple of weeks back and showed speed at Charlotte before finishing 28th. He can probably sneak into the top 10 and get you a few place differential points here.
Connor Mosack - $7.2K
Starts 18th
Normally, I wouldn’t really like this play, but the relative weakness in the middle of this slate has me looking at drivers I wouldn’t usually look at. Connor Mosack is in the Niece Motorsports No. 45 truck this week, making his fourth start of the season and his second in this truck. He previously ran for Niece at Vegas, finishing 19th. Last week in the Spire No. 7, Mosack finished eighth.
NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Sleeper Picks
Colby Howard - $6.8K
Starts 23rd
Colby Howard is set for his third start of the season in this Tricon Garage No. 1 truck. Atlanta was a drafting track so isn't very reflective of this track, but his second start was at Darlington, where he started 18th and finished seventh. Howard could gain at least 10 spots of place differential in this race.
Matt Mills - $6.1K
Starts 26th
Matt Mills has run well lately, finishing in the top 20 in three consecutive races, including his best finish of the season last weekend in Charlotte when he finished fourth. His improved pace lately gives him immense place differential upside on Saturday's slate.
Luke Fenhaus - $6.6K
Starts 27th
This is probably too much of a risk, but this is a race where I just don't love a lot of the plays, so sometimes you've got to take a chance on an inexperienced driver. Luke Fenhaus is set to make his Truck Series debut in the No. 66 truck for Thorsport. He's run four ARCA races in his career, posting a win and three top 10s in those four starts, so I think it's fair to say there's talent here. Can that talent turn into a strong finish?
