Angel Genao Riding 10-Game Hitting Streak
7 months agoCleveland Guardians outfield prospect Angel Genao extended his hitting streak to 10 games with a three-hit performance on Wednesday evening. During this stretch, the 20-year-old has posted a .476/.522/.786 slash line with two home runs, 12 RBI, and six stolen bases. Through 41 games this season with Single-A Lynchburg, he has posted an incredible .347/.393/.563 line with six total long balls, 38 RBI, and 11 swiped bags. Genao spent all of last summer with Single-A and posted a much lower .263/.345/.385 line, which shows how quickly the No. 11 prospect in the Cleveland system is progressing. He remains a few seasons away from his major-league debut but is worth following in dynasty leagues, as his promotion to High-A is right around the corner.
