6 months agoMackenzie Hughes is one of the few golfers in the field with reasonable expectations to make it back-to-back Canadian winners at the RBC Canadian Open this week. The two-time PGA Tour winner does have four top-10 finishes so far in the 2023-2024 season, with his most recent one coming as a T6 at the Wells Fargo Championship two starts ago. He's also performed well in previous renditions of this tournament, having made the cut in four out of five starts with a T14 showing when the event was played at Hamilton Golf in Country Club in 2019. Hughes' enters the week with the fourth-best adjusted course fit over the last 24 rounds, and his elite short game will come in handy with a low greens-in-regulation expected this week. At a mere $8,300 price tag on DraftKings, Hughes projects as a low-owned leverage option with high-upside and win equity this week.--Ryan Hickey
