Corey Seager Hits 10th Homer Of May Tuesday
6 months agoTexas Rangers shortstop Corey Seager continued his strong offensive month in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Diamondbacks, going 1-for-3 with a three-run home run, a walk, and two strikeouts. Seager put his team ahead for good in the fifth inning, ambushing a Brandon Pfaadt breaking pitch into the left-field seats. The 30-year-old's season numbers leave a little to be desired in batting average, but he has put together an excellent May, slashing .287/.388/.644 with 10 HR and 19 RBI in 84 at-bats. Seager has been a top fantasy contributor throughout his career when healthy, and it appears that he has gotten things back on the right track for 2024.
