Kevin Yu In For A Long Week At RBC Canadian Open
6 months agoAside from a few splashes of form, Kevin Yu has been an unreliable source for DFS players this season. He is a beast off the tee, but with a putter, he couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat (156th in strokes gained putting: -0.536). It's been the downfall of every tournament so far, and even at a venue with greens even Rory McIlroy can win on, a strong finish doesn't seem likely. Yu has mediocre approach numbers with short irons and wedges (93rd in approaches from 50-125 and 97th from 150-175), which he will see early and often at Hamilton Golf and Country Club. At a venue that requires more than bombing drives and is much less reliant on long iron play, he's an easy name to leave off the list at $9,500 on FanDuel.
