For everything Keith Mitchell has done well ball-striking-wise--and he's done a lot--horrendous putting has negated a thick majority of it. He currently ranks 7th on the year in strokes gained off the tee (+0.795) and 11th in strokes gained on approach (+0.597), but, the flipside is a 154th ranking in strokes gained putting (-0.383) and 129th in strokes gained around the green (-0.158). Many times, these stats can be a bit skewed one way or the other from a run of good or bad play, but in Killa Keith's case, things have been this way all season. The tools are all there for him to have a great week tee to green, but what comes after is a huge question mark that warrants a second thought at $10,500 on FanDuel.--Todd McGill - RotoBaller

Keith Mitchell has had some nice first rounds of late. The American golfer started off well with a 67 at the Valspar Championship. After that, some erratic shots and missed putts led to Mitchell winding up +2 after four rounds and outside the Top 50. Mitchell has not finished inside the Top 20 once in 2025. He has been great off the tee but putting metrics are slightly below average. Mitchell ranks 115th in strokes gained to putting at -0.108. Worse, he is averaging 30 putts per final round which is more than a full round above the first three. Mitchell's lack of finishing makes it hard to play him from a DFS perspective or make a bet on a Top 20 placement. However, he could start well providing he has a good tee time. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller

Keith Mitchell is what most call a smart golfer. The American takes what is given and does not try to force things. He scrambles well and avoids trouble for the most part. Mitchell is third in 2025 when it comes to bogey avoidance and scrambling. He has two Top 25 results and has not missed a cut. He plays pretty consistent and even-keeled. That is what is typically needed to contend at the Cognizant Classic. Mitchell also ranks 14th in greens in regulation. The 2019 winner has also finished inside the Top 10 two consecutive times. At +3500 via DraftKings, Mitchell has to be worth a look to contend. Even that Top 10 at +350 might merit some consideration. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller

Keith Mitchell has been playing great golf to start the year, with finishes of T33, T21, and T30 in his first three events. He looks to continue his form into the WM Phoenix Open, where he has competed six times, making the cut five times with three top-20 finishes. This course rewards good driving, and Mitchell excels in that area, ranking 13th in total driving, 24th in driving accuracy, and ninth in strokes gained off the tee. However, his approach game could be a concern, as he ranks 117th on tour, losing 1.726 strokes to the field. His strong course history and elite driving ability make him a solid option at $7,500 on DraftKings for fantasy managers.--Dakota Legg - RotoBaller

Keith Mitchell kicked off his Fall Swing in strong fashion, starting with a 12th-place finish at the Procore Championship followed by a T3 at the Sanderson Farms Championship. Things quickly took a turn for the worse, as the 33-year-old UGA alum finished the calendar year with four consecutive missed cuts. In his 2025 debut, he lost close to three strokes on approach while finishing with a middling T30 performance, but he returns to PGA West where he's had plenty of recent success. Mitchell gained 4.5 strokes from tee-to-green en route to a T22 finish here in 2023, and he gained strokes across the board with a T9 finish in 2024. Fantasy managers will likely struggle weighing recent form and course history when evaluating Mitchell for the 2025 American Express.--Ryan Hickey
