6 months agoMilwaukee Brewers shortstop Willy Adames went 2-for-4 at the plate with a three-run blast that powered the Brewers to victory in the opening game of the series. Adames now has eight home runs on the season with a solid .249/.322/.440 slash line, 35 RBI, and eight stolen bases. The 28-year-old is looking to put a disappointing season behind him and is already on pace to smash last year's totals. Under the hood, Adames has an above-average barrel rate, xSLG, hard-hit rate, and walk rate, which are great signs that he could be in for a big summer. He is expected to continue to serve as the everyday shortstop in Milwaukee and consistently bat in the cleanup spot, setting him up for prime RBI opportunities batting behind Christian Yelich and William Contreras.
