Tyler Higbee 2024 Outlook – Starting Season On PUP, Out First Four Games
4 months agoLos Angeles Rams tight end Tyler Higbee (knee) enters the 2024 NFL season as a humongous question mark. After a mediocre 2023 that saw him post a 47-495-2 line over 15 regular-season contests, Higbee suffered a brutal knee injury against the Detroit Lions in the playoffs. He tore both his ACL and MCL and his status for the upcoming season is cloudy. Higbee will probably not be ready for the start of the season and could miss upwards of eight games, depending on how his recovery goes. If and when he does return, his role might be reduced if second-year man Davis Allen improves after a lackluster rookie campaign. Los Angeles also signed former Seattle backup Colby Parkinson in the offseason, so Higbee will not be rushed back unless the other Rams tight ends struggle. There is no reason for fantasy managers to draft Higbee for their teams in 2024. Just wait for him to return and see how he plays, and then pick him up on your league's waiver wire if you need tight end depth. Update 08/28/24: Higbee will start the year on the PUP list and miss the first four games of the season.
