6 months agoBaltimore Orioles outfielder Anthony Santander (knee) is out of the starting lineup on Sunday against the visiting Seattle Mariners while dealing with a sore and swollen left knee. Santander said running in the outfield has been tricky and he expects it to be a few more days before he's 100 percent. He crashed into the outfield wall on Wednesday and aggravated his knee while running the bases. The 29-year-old served as the team's designated hitter the last two days but will get a day off on Sunday and could also miss the series opener on Monday in St. Louis against the Cardinals. Austin Hays is getting a start in left field and is batting sixth, while Ryan O'Hearn is serving as the team's DH and is batting in the three-hole on Sunday against Mariners right-hander George Kirby. Santander is having a tough season to this point and is hitting .204 (10-for-49) with three homers and seven RBI in 14 games to this point in May.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
