Connor Norby is a fantasy baseball waiver wire stash for Week 9 (2024). Target Connor Norby as a top prospect free-agent waiver wire pickup for fantasy baseball.
BALLER MOVE: Stash in AL-Only Leagues
CALL-UP ETA: July
ANALYSIS: Baltimore Orioles infield prospect Connor Norby has been performing very well this season at Triple-A and is approaching in major league debut. In 37 games with Triple-A Norfolk, Norby has posted a .290/.371/.516 slash line with eight home runs. The 23-year-old spent all of last season at Triple-A and posted a similar .290/.359/.483 line with 21 long balls.
This is a great sign for fantasy managers, as Norby has clearly adjusted to major-league pitching and has proven that his excellent production last season was not a fluke. In addition, knowing that he has played 184 games at the Triple-A level, Norby is nearing the final step in his development process and should be on the major league roster later this summer.

The only aspect preventing Norby from being promoted soon is the logjam within the Baltimore infield and pipeline. The Orioles have been doing very well this season, with Jordan Westburg and Jorge Mateo rotating at the keystone. Top prospect Jackson Holliday is also waiting in the wings.
This makes it a bit difficult to predict when Norby will get the call, but his stellar production at Triple-A makes it worth stashing him in AL-only leagues.
