We might still be in May, but the fantasy football season is right around the corner. The 2024 NFL Draft is already almost one month behind us, and rookie minicamp has come and gone for all 32 teams.
The next stop will be offseason workouts and mandatory minicamp for every team before training camp begins at the end of July. Training camp will also be the first time fantasy managers can see each NFL team's offense heading into the year.
But, before training camp begins, let's take a look at which offenses fantasy managers should be targeting and avoiding in fantasy football in 2024.

Fantasy Football Offenses to Target
Sometimes rostering players on elite offenses can go a long way in fantasy football. When you have a player on a very good offense, that often leads to more touchdown opportunities and yards every week. That should be no different for players in top offenses in 2024.
The top offenses to target players on in fantasy football this season are the Dallas Cowboys, San Francisco 49ers, Miami Dolphins, Detroit Lions, and Houston Texans. All five of these teams can score at a high level and feature multiple starting players at quarterback, running back, wide receiver, and tight end in fantasy.

The next tier of offenses to target are the Kansas City Chiefs, Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills, and Philadelphia Eagles. This tier features four elite quarterbacks and plenty of solid pass-catching options (Travis Kelce, Zay Flowers, A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith). Fantasy managers should target players from these nine teams because these offenses can score over 30 points on any given week.
Fantasy Football Offenses to Avoid
Rostering players from below-average offenses can sometimes be a headache. However, fantasy managers shouldn't go into drafts with the mindset to not take any players on a bottom-tier offense. Those types of players could provide some value in the later rounds.
If fantasy managers are avoiding any offense, though, it should be the Carolina Panthers, New England Patriots, and New York Giants. These three offenses have a ton of question marks heading into the year, especially at the quarterback position. Bryce Young is looking to improve after a rough rookie year, Daniel Jones is looking to come back from a torn ACL, and Drake Maye will go through the ups and downs that a rookie quarterback usually goes through.
