Al Horford Stuffs Stat Sheet In Game 5 Win
11 months agoBoston Celtics forward/center Al Horford got his fingerprints all over Wednesday's 113-98 win over Cleveland, notching 22 points, 15 rebounds, five assists, one steal, and three blocks with six makes from downtown. At 37 years old, Horford became the oldest player in league history to finish a playoff game with at least 20 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, and five triples His efforts in the postseason tend to be inconsistent, but Horford was certainly a man on a mission Wednesday night. He can now get his body some rest as Boston awaits its Conference Finals opponent from the Knicks-Pacers matchup. Kristaps Porzingis (calf) is expected to return in the next series, pushing Horford back to the bench, but the savvy veteran should still find ways to impact games.

Al Horford Considered Doubtful Wednesday
10 hours agoBoston Celtics forward/center Al Horford (toe) has been labeled doubtful for Wednesday's matchup against the Miami Heat. He has been nursing a left big toe sprain for a while and appears to need to take some time off to manage the injury. Boston's frontcourt may also be without Kristaps Porzingis (illness) on Monday, leaving Luke Kornet, Neemias Queta, and Xavier Tillman Sr. as the only options at center. Kornet is the most appealing from a fantasy perspective, and he was in fine form in his last outing, notching 15 points, 16 rebounds, and four assists in Saturday's win over the San Antonio Spurs.

Al Horford Available Against Heat
3 weeks agoBoston Celtics forward/center Al Horford (toe) will be in the lineup on Friday against the Miami Heat. Boston has upgraded his status from probable to available. With Kristaps Porzingis (illness) out of commission, Horford has recently taken on a heavy workload. He is averaging 15.8 points, 9.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.3 blocks, and 1.8 steals this month. However, Horford doesn't play back-to-backs, so Luke Kornet and Neemias Queta will likely do the bulk of the work at center on Saturday against the Brooklyn Nets if Porzingis isn't ready to return.

Al Horford Probable For Friday Night
3 weeks agoBoston Celtics center Al Horford (toe) is expected to play on Friday versus the Miami Heat. Hoford appears likely to play Friday after sitting out Monday's game against the Utah Jazz. Unlike Jayson Tatum (knee) and Kristaps Porzingis (illness), who are both questionable, Horford is probable. For the season, Horford has played in 51 games. He averages 8.5 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game. His shooting percentage is 41.9%. Luke Kornet could be more productive if Horford and Porzingis (who is listed as questionable) can't play.

Al Horford Out Against The Jazz
3 weeks agoBoston Celtics center Al Horford (toe) won't play on Monday versus Utah. He's listed as out because of a toe sprain. But it's not uncommon for the veteran to miss games, so fantasy managers may see him back on the floor on Wednesday night against OKC. With Kristaps Porzingis (illness) ruled out, Horford would have likely handled things underneath the basket. However, Luke Kornet, averaging 10.0 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks in 10 starts this season, will likely get the start.
