BALLER MOVE: Stash in NL-Only Leagues
CALL-UP ETA: July
ANALYSIS: The top prospect in the Arizona system, Jordan Lawlar (thumb), made his major league debut late last season but has yet to return to the major league level.
The 21-year-old suffered a thumb injury that required surgery early in March, hindering his opportunity to make the major league roster out of spring training. Lawlar recently had a follow-up and could resume baseball activities by next month.

Through 16 games with Triple-A Reno last season, he has posted a .358/.438/.612 line with five long balls and a 9:12 BB:K ratio.
During his entire minor league career, Lawlar has showcased his elite speed. He swiped 35 bags in 109 games at Double-A, 13 in 30 games at High-A, and 24 in 44 games at Single-A.
In 14 games in the major leagues, he tallied just four hits with one stolen base.
Knowing that Lawlar was promoted in the stretch run of last season and even made the playoff roster, the Diamondbacks clearly value his bat and will promote him as soon as they can. However, Lawlar may have to participate in a rehab assignment before joining the major league roster.
He is a must-stash in NL-only leagues and could be worth stashing in mixed leagues once he begins baseball activities.
