The NFL will kick off the 2024 regular season in style, as the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens are set to square off in the opening game of the 2024 campaign.
Though the official 2024 NFL Schedule isn't expected to drop until May 16, we already know who each team will face, we're just not sure of when they'll square off during the regular season. The NFL's Monday morning announcement that the Kansas City Chiefs will host the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday, September 5 is the first official date and matchup that fans have been made privy to.
It has become a tradition to feature the defending Super Bowl champions in the season opener. The Chiefs defeated the Ravens 17-10 in the AFC Championship Game en route to winning the Super Bowl title against the San Francisco 49ers.
