7 months agoStewart-Haas Racing driver Josh Berry qualified 33rd for this week's Goodyear 400. This is the second-lowest starting position of the season for Berry as well as his worst yet at Darlington in the Cup Series. In his only start at the site in 2023 while filling in for an injured Alex Bowman, Berry placed 30th after starting 23rd. In the Xfinity Series, however, Berry delivered better results with four top-10 finishes and five finishes with positive Place Differential in six Darlington races. After 12 races so far in his rookie season, Berry has five finishes of 16th or better, including each of the last three Cup events. In practice, Berry displayed greater long-run speeds than most by ranking sixth in 20 consecutive lap averages and fourth in 25 consecutive and overall lap averages. Considering his immense upside based on his starting position, equipment, and Xfinity history, Berry is one driver to highly recommend for all DFS contests.--Sean Engel - RotoBaller
