Playoff Series To-Date
Carolina Hurricanes at New York Rangers: New York is leading 1-0
Colorado Avalanche at Dallas Stars: 0-0
DraftKings and FanDuel Goalies - NHL DFS Picks
Igor Shesterkin - DK $7.6K || FD $7.7K
Opponent - Carolina Hurricanes
Shesterkin and the Rangers are coming into this matchup with a chip on their shoulder after winning Game One. Shesterkin did not do very much in the first win, though. In the netminder’s last five playoff starts, he has a 5-0 record with a 2.0 Goals Against Average and a 0.921 Save Percentage. Ending the regular season, Carolina was one of the top teams in raw value in Shots Per Goal Per 60. So far, through playoffs, they have managed to be more efficient. However, there were numerous times when they struggled against the New York Islanders. If the Rangers can hold the Hurricanes early on, Shesterkin could be in for a big night. Especially considering the ‘behind’ narrative for the Carolina Hurricanes, expecting a drastic uptick in offense.
Others To Consider (Cash/GPP):
- Georgiev (DK $7.4K || FD $7.4K)

DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NHL DFS Picks
Wyatt Johnston- DK $5.9K || FD $7.4K
Opponent - Colorado Avalanche
Wyatt Johnston is statistically one of the best players in the playoffs and by a large margin. When only looking at Dallas, he is the best player by quite a bit. Throughout his last five playoff appearances, he has four goals, two assists, 23 shots, and two blocked shots. The lineup shuffle in Dallas has brought great fortunes for Johnston and going against a mediocre Colorado goaltending tandem at best will prove wonders.
Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):
- Mittelstadt (DK $3.8K || FD $5.5K)
DraftKings and FanDuel Wings - NHL DFS Picks
Logan Stankoven - DK $3.8K || FD $5K
Opponent - Colorado Avalanche
Unfortunately for Logan Stankoven, he has not benefited from the lineup shuffle as much as aforementioned teammate Wyatt Johnston. Stankoven has found himself all over the top nine since the playoffs started and has most recently settled in on the top line at right wing. Over his most recent five playoff games, he has one assist, nine shots, and three blocked shots. Considering the lack of goaltending Colorado has, Stankoven on the top line could be one of the top-value plays of the slate.
Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):
- Guentzel (DK $7.3K || FD $9K)
DraftKings and FanDuel Defensemen - NHL DFS Picks
Esa Lindell - DK $4K || FD $4.5K
Opponent - Colorado Avalanche
Finishing things off in Dallas is two-way defenseman Esa Lindell. Lindell is the under-the-radar defenseman that everyone forgets about until the crucial moment in a game. Lindell has ten shots and 18 blocked shots in his last five playoff games, and he will be plenty busy against the offensive-heavy Avalanche in this series. The defenseman is expected one shot and four blocked shots.
Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):
- Skjei (DK $4.4K || FD $6K)
