7 months agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Frankie Montas (forearm) is listed as the team's starter for Tuesday's contest against the visiting Arizona Diamondbacks. It appears Montas will be activated from the injured list to make his return to Cincy's starting rotation on Tuesday. He's been on the IL since April 22 with a right-forearm issue and threw a couple of bullpen sessions last week. The fact that he didn't make any minor-league rehab starts before being thrown back into the fire should make fantasy managers hesitant to throw him back into their starting lineups immediately, especially against an Arizona offense that currently ranks 12th in baseball with a .714 OPS. The 31-year-old is attempting to bounce back from injuries the last two years and has so far gone 2-2 with the Reds with a 4.19 ERA, 1.45 WHIP and 14 K's in 19 1/3 innings over five starts.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
