Carolina Hurricanes center Sebastian Aho finished Sunday's 4-3 loss in Game 1 against the Rangers with two assists. He helped Jaccob Slavin get an equalizer early in the game and collected his second assist when Seth Jarvis scored the final goal late in the third. The Hurricanes star broke a mini-slump with the effort, having gone scoreless in the final two games of the first-round series against the Islanders. Aho also celebrated a franchise record on Sunday, passing Ron Francis for the most points in series-opening games in Hurricanes/Whalers history. He's on two goals and five points through his first six postseason appearances in 2024.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Carolina Hurricanes center Sebastian Aho was at the forefront as the team wrapped up its first-round series against the New Jersey Devils with a 5-4 double-overtime win on Tuesday night. Aho's power-play goal knotted the game at four in regulation, and he finished the series with another power-play tally at the 4:17 mark in the second overtime. The Finnish star also recorded an even-strength assist during the contest. Carolina dominated the matchup right from the start, and Aho had an impressive series with eight points (three goals, five assists) over five games. He will carry a three-game multi-point streak into Round 2, where the Hurricanes will face either Washington or Montreal.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Carolina Hurricanes center Sebastian Aho (rest) will not play in Wednesday's contest against the Montreal Canadiens. The Hurricanes have nothing left to play for and will rest several key players, including Aho, who leads his team in scoring with 74 points (29 goals, 45 assists) in 79 games. He may also receive additional time off on Thursday night against the Ottawa Senators. Jordan Staal (rest), Seth Jarvis (rest), Jordan Martinook (rest), and Jackson Blake (rest) also won't play against the Canadiens, giving players such as Jesperi Kotkaniemi, Taylor Hall, and Jack Roslovic additional fantasy value.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Carolina Hurricanes center Sebastian Aho tallied three points during their 6-4 victory over the New York Islanders on Sunday. Aho found the back of the net in the second frame on the power play. Later in that period, he would tally the primary assist on Seth Jarvis' shorthanded goal. In the third, Aho would finish his evening with another primary assist, on Seth Jarvis' second goal of the contest. In March, Aho tallied 12 points (seven goals) across 14 contests, with four of his points coming on the power play. In 72 total games this season, the 27-year-old has found the back of the net 28 times and added 41 helpers. He has done most of his damage on the power-play, tallying 21 of his total points. He will look to stay productive on Wednesday when the Hurricanes host the Capitals.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

Carolina Hurricanes center Sebastian Aho (illness) is a game-time decision for Saturday's tilt against the Los Angeles Kings. There is a chance Aho makes a comeback to the lineup after missing only one game. He was on an impressive three-game goal streak before sitting out Thursday's contest against the Chicago Blackhawks due to an illness. Jordan Staal (illness) and Taylor Hall (illness) are also game-time decisions for Saturday's matchup. If the trio ends up not playing against the Kings, players like Jack Roslovic, Jackson Blake, and Eric Robinson will gain additional fantasy value.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
