After months of waiting, Malik Nabers finally has his NFL team. The LSU prospect was in contention for WR1 in the class and went only two picks after Marvin Harrison Jr.
The Giants have desperately needed a playmaking receiver to elevate the offense. Nabers has all the speed in the world and a thick frame that allows him to break tackles with ease.
As the newest member of the New York Giants, what does he bring to the offense and how will it impact fantasy football in 2024?

New York Giants Offensive Outlook
Daniel Jones has never had a wide receiver top 1,000 receiving yards. To be fair, he's also never had a wide receiver like Nabers. Darius Slayton, Jalin Hyatt, and Isaiah Hodgins weren't exactly earth-shattering type players last season. This will be a make-or-break year for Jones, and adding Nabers will put him in consideration for streaming QB1 weeks, and he's a high-end QB2 when healthy.
Wan'Dale Robinson takes the biggest hit, going from a late-round value to likely a frustrating flex option at best. On the bright side, the offense is loaded with speed so we could see big plays in New York for the first time in years.
The #Giants WR room and overall team got a LOT better last night. They have some real speed on the outside now:
Malik Nabers- 4.38
Jaylin Hyatt - 4.40
Darius Slayton- 4.39
Wan’Dale Robinson- 4.44#NFLDraft— The Giants Report (@giantsreport1) April 26, 2024
Malik Nabers Fantasy Football Outlook
His price is tolerable on some platforms, but the Giants pick doesn't exactly make the sledding easy for Nabers. While Marvin Harrison Jr. and Xavier Worthy get to go places with high-flying offenses and talented quarterbacks, Nabers is going to have to be double-teamed early and often while waiting for Daniel Jones to hit him.
The talent is undeniable, and as long as his ADP doesn't creep into the high teens -- he'll be a target for many in redraft. Nabers' ability to break off long runs after the catch paired with his sure hands will make the spikes exciting. On the flip side of the coin, playing in New York with some terrible weather and a questionable offense could hold him back from reaching his full potential. There's a chance that all this team needed was a player like Nabers to take it to the next level, so if you believe even an ounce in Daniel Jones, draft Nabers with confidence as your WR2 this fantasy season.
