It’s finally here, RotoBallers! After months of waiting and speculation, the 2024 NFL Draft starts tonight. Along with the Super Bowl and the Kickoff Game that starts the season, Draft Day is one of the most exciting days on the NFL calendar.
The anticipation is over and it is time to get things rolling. It is no mystery who the number one selection will be tonight. The Chicago Bears traded away quarterback Justin Fields in March and interviewed just one player this offseason: USC’s Caleb Williams. The real excitement begins with the second pick and the ripple effects that the Washington Commanders’ selection will cause through the rest of the first round.
Will the Commanders take Jayden Daniels or Drake Maye? Will the Patriots make it three quarterbacks in a row to start the 2024 draft? What trades will rock the first round and shake up everyone’s expectations? There is a lot left to wonder about between now and the start of the event so don’t lose sight of the most fundamental question for us as fans and spectators: When and where do I watch the draft?

How to Watch the 2024 NFL Draft
The draft will air on multiple networks. The main event begins at 8:00 p.m. EDT but there are pre-event shows available on some networks.
NFL Network
Preceding the draft, NFL Network will be airing "NFL Draft Kickoff" almost all day to provide news and analysis before the event. NFL Network’s draft coverage will be hosted by Rich Eisen, making it his 19th year in the role.
ESPN
ESPN will air special draft-focused broadcasts of NFL Live (3:00 p.m. EDT) and College GameDay (5:00 p.m. EDT). The lead-in program NFL Draft Countdown will air at 7:00 p.m. EDT. Mike Greenberg will host and the show will feature draft guru Mel Kiper, Jr., who has been involved in the network’s draft day coverage since 1984.

ESPN Deportes
Spanish language coverage of the draft will air on ESPN Deportes and hosted by Eduardo Valera and Pablo Viruega. No pre-even programming is scheduled.
ABC
ABC is part of the same media family as ESPN, but their coverage will not simply be a simulcast for network television. ABC’s coverage will be more focused on the human-interest angle of draftees’ backgrounds than ESPN’s analysis. Host Rece Davis will be joined by fellow College GameDay fixtures Kirk Herbstreit and Desmond Howard. Nick Saban will also be included to offer his perspective as a former coach.
