7 months agoToronto Blue Jays top pitching prospect Ricky Tiedemann (elbow), who is currently on the injured list at Triple-A Buffalo, is seeing team doctors in Toronto this week. Per the Blue Jays, Tiedemann's next steps will be determined from there. It's usually not a good thing when pitchers are meeting with doctors, but we won't know the true extent of the young pitcher's damage until the results of his meeting with doctors is revealed. The 21-year-old southpaw has been dealing with elbow discomfort after recording a 5.63 ERA and 2.00 WHIP in his first three starts for Buffalo this year. Tiedemann also missed time due to shoulder and biceps issues in 2023, so it's concerning for the No. 26 overall prospect this year, per MLB Pipeline.
