For Sunday's Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400 at Texas Motor Speedway, Christopher Bell will start third. This will be Bell's best starting position in his Cup career to a race at Texas and of 2024 so far. Bell has three top-5 finishes in five previous Texas races, including last Fall's race at the site, where he placed fourth. Through eight races so far in the 2024 season, Bell has five top-10 finishes and led in five different Cup events. In practice, Bell's car looked best on longer runs as he ranked fifth of all drivers in 20 consecutive lap averages. The driver of the No. 20 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota is a DFS risk this week due to his starting position, leaving little place differential upside. However, with Texas being one of his better 1.5-mile intermediate tracks, Bell is worth considering for tournament-based lineups. Regardless of track type, Bell is also worth considering as he ran well at all races where he was unaffected by car issues or accidents so far this season.--Sean Engel - RotoBaller

Christopher Bell of Joe Gibbs Racing will start 11th for Sunday's Jack Link's 500 at Talladega Superspeedway. It will be the eighth time in his Cup career that he will start inside the top 15 at Talladega. In 10 previous starts at the Alabama track, Bell has three top-10 finishes, including his last appearance during the October 2024 Cup event, where he went on to place sixth. So far, after nine races this season, Bell has three wins, including Atlanta, another drafting-based track like Talladega, six top-10 finishes, and an average finish of 9.8. Bell's upside is lower compared to most drivers this week due to his starting position, but he is a solid performer at drafting tracks overall in his Cup career. As a result, Bell is worth consideration for tournament lineups only, especially due to his equipment, which is capable of placing in the top 10.--Sean Engel - RotoBaller

Christopher Bell of Joe Gibbs Racing placed eighth at the end of the Food City 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway on Sunday. Starting the race from the seventh position, Bell's race was up and down, but he ran inside the top 10 throughout most of the event. In the first stage, Bell kept pace with the rest of the pack and only moved up one position to end the stage in sixth, scoring multiple stage points. In the second stage, Bell moved further up the pack and into the top five. The No. 20 Toyota driver ended the stage in the third position, gathering eight stage points and setting himself up to compete for a top finish. In the third stage, however, Bell fell back as others passed him, and despite some pit strategy by pitting earlier than the other leading drivers, he made it as far as the eighth position. Bell's finish in this week's race marks his fifth consecutive top-10 finish at Bristol and his sixth overall in this Cup career.--Sean Engel - RotoBaller

Look for Christopher Bell to be a contender at Bristol Motor Speedway this weekend. In the Next Gen era, Bell has the best average driver rating (122.4), best Average Running Position (4.4), and he has average 89.8 laps led per race since the introduction of his new car. In those four races, Bell has yet to finish worse than 10th, and in three of the events he came home in the top five. This weekend, the No. 20 Toyota will roll off the starting grid from seventh-place. In practice, Bell was a little slow out of the gate, but his lap times steadily improved over the course of the long run--which will be key to success on race day. On DraftKings, Bell is priced at $10,200 for this weekend's race. He makes for a very interesting and strong pivot option in tournaments, especially off of the drivers that should have significantly higher ownership percentages (such as Denny Hamlin and Kyle Larson). --Jordan McAbee

Christopher Bell finished third at Darlington on Sunday, but that was more because he was lucky than good. Despite the fact that Denny Hamlin won the race and Bell ended up with a third-place finish, all the Joe Gibbs Racing cars seemed to be very slow on long runs as Bell started 17th but shockingly fell as low as 30th and nearly got lapped during Stage 1. However, his crew chief Adam Stevens' decision to long-pit in Stage 2 reaped dividends during the Brad Keselowski debris caution, as he remained on the lead lap while many of the faster cars were trapped behind him. In a race with minimal passing, Bell was then able to retain and even improve his position. Despite being nowhere to be seen in Stage 1, he finished sixth in Stage 2 and ran in most of the top 10 in Stage 3, moving up to third in points but losing 17 points to William Byron.--Sean Wrona - RotoBaller
