Jordan Phillips Joining Giants Defensive Line
8 months agoThe New York Giants are signing veteran defensive tackle Jordan Phillips, according to NFL insider Ian Rapoport. The nine-year NFL veteran has spent time with the Miami Dolphins, Buffalo Bills, and Arizona Cardinals, and he has racked up 181 tackles, 24 sacks, three forced fumbles, one interception, and 25.5 run stuffs in 120 career games. New York already has Pro Bowl defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence and edge rusher Brian Burns, so Phillips won't be expected to be dominant in 2024. However, he's an experienced run-stopper with the ability to give the team a few sacks.
