Cameron Johnson Ready To Face Raptors
Cameron Johnson (toe) is ready to rejoin the action on Wednesday against the Raptors. He will jump back into the lineup after missing two games with a toe sprain. Dorian Finney-Smith's (knee) absence should secure Johnson his 48th start of the season. Johnson has averaged 14.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.6 assists in the first unit in 2023-24. He went close to a double-double in his only previous start against Toronto this season. With Nicolas Claxton (ankle) also back in the fold, Trendon Watford, Noah Clowney, and Jalen Wilson will need to worry about their minutes.

Cameron Johnson Misses Fourth Consecutive Game
Cameron Johnson (back) will remain on the shelf for Tuesday's meeting with the New Orleans Pelicans. He is struggling to recover from a lower back injury, and with only a few games left in the regular season, it would not be surprising if the Nets go the rest of the way without Johnson. With Johnson sidelined, Trendon Watford is likely to receive a third consecutive start. Watford has averaged 12.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 4.5 assists since moving to the starting unit.

Cameron Johnson Ruled Out On Monday Night
Cameron Johnson (back) won't play on Monday night against Dallas. He had an excellent game in the recent win over the Washington Wizards, finishing with 18 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists. Unfortunately, he took a hard fall late in the contest and was ruled out. With Brooklyn already eliminated from Play-In contention, it's anyone's guess if Johnson has a few more games in him before the end of the regular season. But with Noah Clowney (ankle) also ruled out, Jalen Wilson may slide into the starting lineup, with the 24-year-old averaging 11.2 points in 18 starts this season. Trendon Watford should also see extra work after amassing seven points and two blocks versus the Wizards.

Cameron Johnson Sits Out Wednesday's Game
Cameron Johnson (rest) will not be in the lineup on Wednesday against the Toronto Raptors. He is skipping the game for rest purposes, which opens up a spot in the starting lineup. In Johnson's most recent absence, Jalen Wilson joined the first unit but struggled, finishing with zero points on 0-for-4 shooting in a 105-99 loss to the Indiana Pacers. This may lead Nets head coach Jordi Fernandez to explore alternative options on Wednesday. Trendon Watford and Noah Clowney are expected to see more playing time, especially with the frontcourt also missing Day'Ron Sharpe (knee).

Cameron Johnson Resting Against Pacers
Cameron Johnson (rest) will sit out Thursday's game against the Indiana Pacers. The Nets want to give him some rest, resulting in Johnson's second absence this month. Trendon Watford and Noah Clowney are the leading candidates to fill Johnson's spot in the starting lineup and could see an increase in playing time. Meanwhile, the offensive usage of players such as D'Angelo Russell, Ziaire Williams, and Nicolas Claxton appears poised for a boost.
