Welcome to our Sleeper NBA DFS prop picks for Wednesday, April 10. Wednesday is host to eight games and an overall abysmal slate. This part of the season is already insufferable from an entertainment standpoint and it doesn’t help when superstar players start showing that late-season fatigue.
For example, Giannis Antetokounmpo, luckily, is only missing one to two weeks with a calf strain after most of the basketball community feared the worst. If you have not secured your position in the playoffs, it’s understandable why you’re running your best players in the ground, but for Antetokounmpo to go down with an injury this late is just improper player management.
Not sure if Doc Rivers is single-handedly trying to fix the NBA’s tanking problem, but having one of your best players get hurt in a game versus a team you will face in the playoffs is a bold strategy. Hopefully we don't see similar decisions for tonight's slate.
Sleeper offers some of the best and easiest-to-win NBA DFS games in the industry. Sleeper DFS works just like regular player prop betting -- there are no large-field tournaments in which to get lost. NBA DFS Props - Over/Under Picks for Wednesday, April 10
Devin Booker UNDER 12.5 Rebounds + Assists
If the Suns can’t play Jusuf Nurkic they don’t have much chance of beating a team that knows how to utilize mismatches. Ivica Zubac isn’t a game-changer, but when uncontested around the rim, he becomes a problem. The Clippers and Suns played last night and tonight’s continuation of last night’s game should just be more of the same. Zubac and Russell Westbrook working the pick-and-roll from up top, scoring easy points while the Clippers defense makes life difficult for Phoenix’s isolation scorers.
We know what Devin Booker is capable of and that’s scoring points, so let’s just avoid that issue altogether. As long as we stick to assists and rebounds, Booker’s main contributions will come from his scoring ability and we already know assists take a dive when facing a competent defense. There’s no doubt Kevin Durant, Bradley Beal, and Booker have potential tonight, but that potential is obviously capped when playing a team that doesn’t concede points easily. Even if Booker has a productive game, I’m not buying into Suns players outside of the core three.
Khris Middleton OVER 5.5 Rebounds
Giannis Antetokounmpo still played around 30 minutes last night, and Khris Middleton hit the over anyway. Middleton isn’t a selfish player by any means, and this season has been a pretty clear reflection of that. The addition of Damian Lillard immediately stole shot attempts from Middleton, but he couldn’t seem happier to donate the production. Middleton understands his role on this team and that understanding has propelled him into the top-tier of secondary playmakers.
Now that he has more room to work with and a massive boost without Antetokounmpo, the two things he’s done consistently are rebounding and finding teammates. The only problem is, when Antetokounmpo doesn’t play, Lillard gets the playmaking duties. The shift in dynamic from a Lillard-Antetokounmpo run offense to a Lillard-Middleton run offense sits securely in the fact that Middleton can be a spot-up shooter if he needs to be. Although it seems that Middleton should see a massive boost across the board, Lillard calling the shots has a chance to significantly alter projections.
Ashton & Jake King-Finnen OVER 1.5 Children
Ashton King-Finnen has been an absolute work-horse over the past two years. Producing one healthy baby in 2022 and looking great 40 weeks into a second pregnancy. With a very important appointment coming up later today, King-Finnen is looking to increase the family number by a full point, adding a baby girl into the mix. This will be the second King-Finnen child, and by the looks of it, this won’t be the end, as Ashton King-Finnen has her eyes set on the Triple Crown.
The Firstborn, Jake King-Finnen II has also been gearing up for the new addition as well, learning to share his toys, by being gentle with the puppies, and by saying thank you whenever he can. New things lead to new experiences and new experiences build character. If you are reading this, I hope you have a great day and please welcome my daughter, Charlotte King-Finnen into this world. I love you, Ashton. I love you, Charlotte. And thank you all for making this my life.
