Carlos Rodon Earns First Win Of Season Tuesday
8 months agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Carlos Rodon picked up his first win of the season in Tuesday's 3-2 game against the Marlins. Rodon took advantage of a favorable matchup, allowing two runs (none earned) on four hits and two walks with six strikeouts over six innings pitched. There is a lot of pressure on the 31-year-old to have a bounce-back season after a dreadful 2023, and he has mostly done that through his first three starts. Rodon has compiled a 1.72 ERA with 13 strikeouts and seven walks in 15 2/3 IP. The strikeout-to-walk ratio is not what fantasy managers were hoping for, but they can't argue with his ERA. Rodon will look to start a winning streak in his next projected start at a struggling Blue Jays lineup.
