Min Woo Lee A Risky Option For The Masters
8 months agoMin Woo Lee has been a model of inconsistency leading into his third Masters appearance. The 25-year-old Aussie opened his 2024 calendar year with a T21 at The American Express, and followed that up with finishes of T43, T71, T2, T44, T54 and a missed cut at the Valspar Championship two weeks ago. In those seven events, he lost strokes on approach in five and lost strokes putting in six. If those trends continue, Lee could be headed for a massively disappointing week at Augusta National. While he did finish T14 in his Masters debut in 2022, he lost over five strokes from tee-to-green en route to a missed cut in last year's edition. And while he does rank inside of the top-10 in bentgrass putting and par 5 scoring over the last 24 rounds, he ranks 50th in good drive percentage, 60th on approach, 72nd in scrambling, 62nd in bogey avoidance, 52nd putting on fast greens. Fantasy managers would be wise to limit their exposure to Lee this week and look for upside elsewhere in the low-$7,000 range on DraftKings.
