8 months agoPhiladelphia 76ers guard Tyrese Maxey (hip) is back on the injury report ahead of Thursday's game in Miami. The 23-year-old has had a stellar 2023-24 campaign and was instrumental in helping the 76ers stay afloat while Joel Embiid (knee) was on the shelf. But he's battled various injuries throughout the season, with hip tightness keeping him off the floor for the Sixers' previous two contests. If Maxey returns, he'll presumably see his usual workload, considering he wouldn't be available if he weren't fully healthy. However, if he sits this one out, Cameron Payne, coming off a 10-point, 10-rebound double-double with five assists in Tuesday's win over OKC, is worth considering for deep DFS tournaments. With Embiid and Tobias Harris (knee) questionable, Payne's fantasy ceiling will rise if either is ruled out.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
