Myles Turner Misses Wednesday's Game
8 months agoIndiana Pacers center Myles Turner (finger) has been ruled out for Wednesday's clash with the Nets. He sprained a finger in Monday's matchup against Brooklyn, and Indiana has downgraded him from questionable to out. Jalen Smith took over the center role in the first unit following Turner's injury on Monday and figures to play a pivotal role again in Wednesday's rematch. Brooklyn is a vulnerable team against centers, and Smith also didn't have any trouble filling up the box score against them on Monday, finishing with 17 points and 10 rebounds in 16 minutes. Isaiah Jackson will also feature more in the rotation without Turner.
