The NIT Final Four begins tonight at the historic Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. It's not The Garden, but it honestly might be better... especially since we have a home-state team playing there.
Indiana State tips off against Utah in the early game with Georgia and Seton Hall following up in the nightcap to see who will face off in the NIT Championship on Thursday. We don't need those teams that "opted out." This is a strong Final Four without them!
This article will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks on DraftKings on 4/2/24, starting at 7:00 p.m. EDT. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower levels. Good luck, RotoBallers.
Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks
Deivon Smith, Utah ($9.2K)
TRIPLE DOUBLE KING ?

Smith will forever be the Pac-12 leader in triple-doubles after the Elite Eight matchup against Virginia Commonwealth. He has back-to-back triple-doubles in the NIT and has a double-double in all three games in the tournament so far. This is a tougher matchup for Smith, but so was VCU on paper. He's peaking at the right time for the Utes.
Al-Amir Dawes, Seton Hall ($7.2K)
Dawes' stock tanked after a rough three games against Creighton, UConn, and Villanova. That can be expected. What was not expected is the postseason run that Dawes is on. He has averaged 35.9 DraftKings points since the postseason began. Dawes has done a little bit of everything and his output is close to that of Kadary Richmond at a fraction of the price. However, Richmond has a ceiling in the 50s. Dawes hit that in an overtime game against St. Joseph's, but that's an outlier. His normal ceiling is in the low 40s.
Xavier Bledson, Indiana State ($3.8K)
As usual, value is murky at best on a two-game slate. Bledson sees solid minutes off of the Indiana State bench, but if he goes cold from the field, he has no chance of hitting value. This is going to be a tough defensive game, so Bledson's bench scoring could be big for the Sycamores. He's far from a consistent answer though. He has as many single-digit DraftKings point games as double-digit ones.
Also consider: Kadary Richmond, Seton Hall ($8.9K); Ryan Conwell, Indiana State ($8.5K); Noah Thomasson, Georgia ($6.4K); Dylan Addae-Wusu, Seton Hall ($6.3K); Hunter Erickson, Utah ($4K)

Today's DraftKings Forwards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks
Robbie Avila, Indiana State ($8.6K)
Here is Robbie Avila — a.k.a. "Cream Abdul-Jabbar" scoring 22 points & dishing out 6 assists in Indiana State's win over Cincinnati on Tuesday night to make the NIT Final Four.
This is what the NCAA Selection Committee took away from us... pic.twitter.com/cNLOXDYxU6
— College Sports Only (@CollegeSportsO) March 27, 2024
Yeah, I'm still salty with the selection committee. They burdened us with a Virginia team that was dreadful down the stretch instead of giving us at least one game of this. Avila's run in the NIT is likely longer than it would have been in the NCAA Tournament, but it's a travesty that we will never know. Avila's game against Cincinnati was his best since February 28. It will be interesting to see what he does against the Utah front. I like Avila in this type of game.
Lawson Lovering, Utah ($5.4K)
Guard is loaded compared to forward tonight. Even though Lovering's numbers aren't great, they are good enough compared to his peers. Lovering played sparingly in the opening round, but he has piled up 19 rebounds in 47 minutes over the last two games. The Utes ran with Iowa and slowed to a crawl against VCU. They can play any type of game. Lovering's great rebounding off the bench helps in any type of game.
Frank Anselem-Ibe, Georgia ($3.9K)
There has been no official word on what is ailing Russel Tchewa, but he only played five minutes in the Elite Eight game against Ohio State. Anselem-Ibe has been outstanding in his stead, putting up 49 DraftKings points in 54 minutes over the last two games. At this point, it wouldn't surprise me if Anselem-Ibe gets a nice minutes load regardless of the status of Tchewa. We may even see both on the court together in this one.
Also consider: Dre Davis, Seton Hall ($8.3K); Branden Carlson, Utah ($7.1K); Russel Tchewa, Georgia ($5.1K); Jalen DeLoach, Georgia ($3.6K)
