9 months agoPittsburgh Pirates right-hander Jared Jones had a phenomenal major league debut, recording a win and striking out 10 batters in the team's 9-3 win against the Miami Marlins on Saturday. The rookie walked two batters and gave up three earned runs, but it was a spectacular debut overall for the 22-year-old righty. He was dominant in spring training, tossing 16 1/3 scoreless innings. With his impressive performance, fantasy managers should add Jones in all league formats. His next start will be a tougher test, though, as he is slated to face the Baltimore Orioles on Friday in the Pirates' home opener.--Kevin Larson - RotoBaller
